I just found out today when I received my RAGS PROGRESS book that Rossrags Figo was awarded BEST BLUE BI-COLOUR ADULT at the AGM and received the PRBCC BOWL trophy due to the points he has accrued over the show year. I am one very delighted breeder. Thank you Paula

Update 08/05/11
Yesterday Blade received his 2nd CC at the Manchester show so 1 more and he'll be a Champion. I'm very proud of him. Paula got some pics of him done and sent them to me so I have added them here. I have also added a pic of 1 of Blade's playmates Couger who also won BOB yesterday but is not 9 months until next week so doesn't get a CC.

Here is the judges report for Blade's 2nd show 26/3/11
Open Class
2ND, BARROWCLOUGH’S ROSSRAGS FIGO, 66 31a, BLUE BI-COLOUR MALE, 20.5.10 A promising looking youngster, unlucky to be in the class with the more mature boy, as this does tend to show up immaturity more than if he had been on his own in the class. Good Ragdoll type, his head shows breadth and he has a flat plane between ears that tilt forwards slightly and are medium sized, spaced apart. Cheeks already fairly well developed and showing gently rounded contours, as is his muzzle, firm chin and bite is level. I would prefer his eyes to be slightly larger, and he did tend to stare making them a touch rounder in shape than the ideal, but the colour is a strong blue. Good weight and proportions, his body feels strong and sturdy, limbs are medium in length and fairly substantial, long bushy tail to balance. Well presented silky soft pale coat, showing a white diamond shaped patch on the back and white acorss his shoulders, at the moment he is lacking a ruff. Very inquisitive lad, interested in his surroundings and happy to be handled.

Blade (Rossrags Figo) had his 2nd show today. Although he never got his cc today he got a 2nd so he still has plenty of time and potential to obtain the CCs for gaining a Champion title. Congrats to Paula on Cougers 1st and his BOB (Mainecoon). 1 of Blade's playmates. Keep up the great work. We are very proud of Blade.
Updated 12/3/11
Rossrags Figo is now settled in Cumbria with Paula at Poshkitties. He has just received his first CC (12/3/11) at the Lancashire show. He's getting along great with all his new friends and family. We do miss our big teddy but are so glad he's doing so well and is happy in his new home. He has some more shows comming up very soon so fingers crossed he'll get another 2 CC and become a Champion. Blade is our first kitten who has gone on to be a show/stud cat. Such a lovely loving boy. Thank you Paula for giving him a great home and having faith in our baby.
Time to update the pictures of Figo as he is now 8 months old and getting to be really big. Weighed today (20th Jan) and he is now a whopping 10lb. He has the most beautiful coat as you can see from the pictures. He's still a big cuddly teddy bear. He is now showing an increasing interest in the ladies so as soon as Poppy is ready I will mate Figo with her. He is registered entire, micro-chipped and clear of the known HCM ragdoll gene. Pictures taken today 20th January 2011. I apologise about the poor quality of some of the photos.

The pictures below are of him when he was younger

Rossrags Figo is our first home bred breeding cat. He is called Figo as it is italian for hunk. I took ages to find him a great name. He was so specail looking that I couldn't neuter him like I do with all the pet kittens so I have him registered on-active. He is for sale to the right breeder so please contact me for further information. He may even be suitable for showing. I am in no hurry to sell him because if he is still here next year when Poppy is old enough to breed I will mate them together as they are totally unrelated and hopefully would produce some stunning kittens. Figo is now micro-chipped and tested. He is also certified entire. He was weighed this month and is already 8lb 6oz.
